The Vertex team recently paid a visit to our business partner in Hungary. This business relationship was established more than 10 years ago, and in that time Vertex has visited the business partner frequently and stayed in communication constantly, in order to comprehensively deepen and strengthen the business cooperation.

Our partner owns a quarry located in the Eger mountain area in northern Hungary, which produces high-quality aggregates from eruptive andesite. The business partnership was built through machinery supply, and thereafter developed and deepened in the following stages: EPC for a complete production plant, a plan and solution for production, facilities management and operation optimization. The quarry has been completed and equipped with the most cutting-edge computer-controlled machines, reaching the optimal balance of capacity and consumption for production, while also ensuring the efficiency of operation. Vertex acts not only as a supplier and contractor in the market, but also as a business partner that is able to establish strong bonds in the quarry and mining operation to enable business growth.

With regard to sustainable and environmental concepts, Vertex has provided energy-supplement solutions to this quarry integrated with renewable energy generated by solar panels. This quarry is a certified “Green Quarry” in Hungary, which reflects Vertex’s commitment to sustainability and a greener future.

As a presentation project, the quarry is already well developed with advanced facilities and technology. Vertex has accompanied several visits of potential clients from other European countries. Thanks to its advantageous location, Hungary is becoming the centralized business hub of Vertex in Eastern Europe. Based on its current solid business relationship, Vertex is enhancing its cooperation with its Hungarian partner to facilitate potential business growth in the future.
